Patients begin telemedicine services by completing a secure online intake form.
The intake process includes:
- Patient identity and contact information
- Medical history and current health concerns
- Telemedicine consent acknowledgment
- Acceptance of privacy practices (HIPAA-compliant)
All patient information is securely stored and accessed only by authorized clinical personnel.
Appointment Scheduling
After completing intake, patients may schedule a telemedicine consultation with a licensed medical provider.
- Appointments are conducted via a secure telemedicine platform
- No medical advice is provided prior to a completed consultation
- Scheduling an appointment does not guarantee a prescription
Telemedicine Consultation
Telemedicine consultations are conducted in real time via audio and/or video with a licensed medical provider.
The consultation includes:
- Review of patient intake and medical history
- Clinical evaluation and discussion
- Determination of appropriate next steps based on provider judgment
All clinical decisions are made independently by the provider in accordance with applicable medical laws and regulations.
Medical Determination & Treatment Plan
Following the consultation, the provider may:
- Recommend lifestyle or wellness guidance
- Order diagnostic testing, if clinically appropriate
- Determine whether prescription-only medication is medically necessary
A consultation does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued.
Prescription Handling (If Applicable)
If a prescription-only medication is deemed appropriate:
- Prescriptions are issued by a licensed provider
- Prescriptions are sent to a licensed, LegitScript-certified pharmacy
American Medical Wellness does not dispense prescription medications
Payment & Transactions
Payments processed through our website are limited to:
- Telemedicine consultations
- Medical services
- Diagnostic or wellness-related services
We do not process card-not-present transactions for prescription-only medications.
Follow-Up Care
Patients may be advised to schedule follow-up visits based on medical necessity.
- Follow-up care is optional and provider-directed
- Ongoing treatment decisions remain at the provider’s discretion

Will my insurance cover the visit?
Many plans do cover telehealth appointments. If not, you can still book a visit for $49 dollars.
Can I get a prescription online?
- Yes, when your provider decides it is medically safe and appropriate.
- Your prescription is sent directly to your preferred local pharmacy.
- Some medications or conditions still require an in-person evaluation.
Is my personal information safe?
Yes. Our telehealth platform is encrypted and fully HIPAA compliant, so your privacy is always protected.
What if I need to see a doctor in person?
If an in-person visit is needed, your provider will refer you to a trusted clinic or specialist near you.
